HTML5 Video Available on the Web – October Update.
Wooo! Not that I'm an iFan. It's that I absolutely hate and loathe Adobe Flash - Flash player, Shockwave flash and whatever the hell else they want to call it. It crashed my Chrome browser (admittedly on an old computer) all the damn time. And not just one tab! The whole thing! Die adobe die!

Connecting Twitter and Facebook
Like I've mentioned, I like web apps. I switch between computers and devices all the time so something that has to be installed on everything (and may not even be supported on all of them) is unappealing to me.
I could easily connect everything using something like Digsby. Which is nice on a new computer. But a bit of a hog, especially on a shitty very old netbook and slow internet connection. Drove me up the wall.
So how do I connect my social networks, say Facebook and Twitter? (I really don't use my Myspace any more which is sad. But that's not so much due to it - yes, yes, people have ugly things on it but I like choice and being able to color sites as I wish instead of all white and minimal blue - as it is due to the majority of my social circle moving to Facebook.)
One of the best search results I've found for this: http://mashable.com/2009/05/25/twitter-to-facebook/
Unfortunately it is outdated. Some apps no longer exist. Some have gotten replaced. Some only go one way (post twitter to facebk, but not facebk to twitter). One is just for phones, I don't have a nice phone and wouldn't want to do all my posts from there anyways.
So what I end up doing? Currently I am testing out HootSuite. It is more for corps/businesses than personal use. Can add Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, Ping, WordPress, MySpace, and Foursquare apparently. Couple skin options. Can select which accounts I want to post updates to. Nifty, but a bit information-overwhelming to see it all on one page in multiple streams. We'll see how I like this. And how long it lasts...Maybe I'll get bored or annoyed and search for something new?
